More improvements to make your day

We’ve been busy bees these last two months, working on all sorts of improvements to make your day that much sweeter. There are plenty of major upgrades to STAT in the works, but here are a few little updates that are ready for use.

Synced sites now in sync with API calls

We’re always making tweaks to our APIs — little updates here, big ones there — and you can track them all in our API changelog.

For our first update of 2016, we added synced site details to two of our API calls. These include Sites:All and Sites:Lists. Now you’re able to see which sites are synced when you make one of these API calls, giving you a more comprehensive snapshot of your sites.

Backfill tags and data views with historical data

Ever wish that you tracked a certain tag earlier or wanted to see if it would be worth tracking in the future? You can now take a peek into the past.

When creating new tags or data views with existing keywords, simply right-click and select Backfill Tag or Backfill Data View, and it will populate with up to six months of the keywords’ historical ranking data.

Reset your password — yourself!

We’ve done it! We’ve officially joined the twenty-first century with our password reset ability.

Instead of having to reach out to us each time you forget your STAT login information, you can now do a quick reset all by your onesie. Click the Lost username? or Lost password? link on the login window and enter your account email address. You’ll be back in STAT in no time.

Fare thee well, loading wheel

Those of you with keen eagle eyes might notice a certain loading wheel has disappeared from the top-right corner of STAT. Don’t worry though, this change affects nothing since, just between us, it didn’t actually do anything.

It might seem like a strange tidbit to share but for us, it highlights our very serious undertaking to cut the wheat from the chaff, add in-demand features, and make STAT an even more streamlined analytics platform. In other words, good things are afoot.

Stay tuned for more updates, and if you have questions regarding any of the above, don’t be afraid to reach out.

Cheers,
the STAT Team
