Appearance and Ownership

Use the toggle buttons at the top-right corner of each chart to flip between a standard and full-screen size.

Legend
The legend populates with features that appear on the SERPs for your selected keyword segment and controls the features you want on the [Current Day] SERP Features and SERP Features Over Time charts — just click to add or remove them from view. Hover over a feature to see the total, owned, and remaining values for share of voice or keyword count.

SERP features are grouped by how STAT categorizes their URLs — Google Attributed (owned by Google), Site Attributed (owned by any site), and Other (temporarily unknown to us or owned by a specific entity, such as Twitter). Learn about each SERP feature here.

[Current Day] SERP Features
This chart gives you a daily snapshot of the SERP features appearing for your keywords. Using the drop-down menu at the top, you can view the following for each feature:

  • SoV: Total — The total share of voice generated by a SERP feature. Where applicable, this is broken down between the amount you own (the darker portion) and what remains. Click the chart icon to reveal all keywords that produced the SERP feature. Clicking the bottom, darker section will show keywords where you have won this feature. Clicking the top, lighter section will uncover which keywords do not own the feature.
  • SoV: Owned — The amount of share of voice that you own. Click anywhere on the SERP feature bar to see the keywords where you are attributed in the SERP feature. Since share of voice is calculated using the first 20 search results, SoV: Owned and Count: Owned will serve up different results.
  • Count: Total — The total number of keywords that produced a SERP feature. Where applicable, this is broken down between the number that have features you own (the darker portion) and what remains. Click the chart icon to reveal all keywords that produced the SERP feature. Clicking the bottom, darker section will show keywords where you have won this feature. Clicking the top, lighter section will uncover which keywords do not own the feature.
  • Count: Owned — The number of keywords that produced a SERP feature that you own. Click anywhere on the SERP feature bar to view those keywords.

SERP Features Over Time
This chart shows how the SERP features that appear for your keywords have changed over time. Use the date-picker at the top-right corner to select a date-range. Using the drop-down menu, you can view the following for each feature:

  • SoV: Total — The total share of voice generated by a SERP feature.
  • SoV: Owned — The amount of share of voice that you own.
  • Count: Total — The total number of keywords that produced a SERP feature.
  • Count: Owned — The number of keywords that produced a SERP feature that you own.
+-Exporting the data

You can download a CSV file of data from the [Current Day] SERP Features and SERP Features Over Time charts.

  1. Click the Export data button on the top right of the Appearance and Ownership panel.
  2. If you only want the data for the features currently displayed in the Legend, select Enabled SERP features, for all features data select All SERP features.
  3. Choose your Start Date and End Date.
  4. Click Export to start the download.
