Great news! We identified the Google change that caused some SERPs to incorrectly localize and have updated our system to ensure your results represent searches performed in your specified locations.
You should see correctly geolocated results for any affected keywords in your April 5 data. We’ll continue to monitor things, but if they still look amiss or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@getSTAT.com.

[NEW ISSUE] April 3, 2019
If you’re tracking keywords in a specific location in STAT (like street address, zip code, or city), you may notice that some results don’t match the area. We believe Google has made a change to how locations are defined and we are currently testing to confirm.
You can see if your keywords have been affected by heading to the Archived SERPs subtab and examining the ranking domains — impacted keywords will show domains outside of your tracked location. As it is normal to see some results from other areas, we recommend you check keywords that are more likely to return domains from local brick-and-mortar businesses.
We will be updating this post once the issue is resolved, but please send any examples or questions you may have to support@getSTAT.com.
Cheers,
The Moz team
