New feature: Smartphone rankings are out of beta.

We have some great news! Back in June of this year, STAT made it possible for users to track smartphone ranking data. At the time, we wanted to test how you all would use this feature, and how we could scale it up to support unlimited smartphone rank tracking for any location on Earth. While we tested the new feature, we released it to you all in beta.

With your feedback, the STAT team worked hard to make sure we delivered everything you were looking for. We’re happy to announce that as of today the feature is out of beta and is 100% complete.

Just to recap, you will now notice a “device type” column in the import templates. When importing data into STAT via the template, please specify the device type (“Desktop” or “Smartphone”). The manual import function also requires you to specify the device type, so just select what you need from the device drop-down menu. Once the keywords are imported, you’ll be able to see the device type in the Device column in the Keywords tab.

Smartphone ranking in STAT supports Google, Yahoo and Bing, so you’ll automatically see smartphone rankings for all three search engines.

If you notice any issues or bugs while using this new feature, email us at support@getstat.com. Furthermore, if you require anymore information about how STAT crawls smartphone SERPs or advice on getting started with smartphone rankings, please feel free to contact us—we would be more than happy to arrange a quick call.

Thanks for all your support and candid feedback. We’re thrilled to finally release this feature to the public and we couldn’t have done it without all of you, the STAT community.

Warm regards,
Jamie & the STAT team.
