This tab gives you insightful metrics into your true SEO competition. Track organic share of voice to find out who’s at the top of their game, who’s losing ground, and who’s becoming a legitimate threat.
Share of voice reporting automatically includes the top 20 competitors for your site. You can pin up to 10 additional sites to include in the Competitive Landscape tab via the Site Tools > Settings. You can also customize the CTR model used to calculate share of voice.
You’ll find four sections on this tab:
Share of Voice: Top Ten Trending — This chart shows you the total share of voice for the top 10 domains and subdomains. You can explore this data at the site, data view, or tag level for the last 7, 30, 60, 90, 180 days, or even the full year. The top 10 is calculated over the entire selected date range. (In other words, it isn’t necessarily the current top 10.) If you have chosen to pin any subfolders, a second Top Ten Trending chart will appear to show the segmented share of voice.
Share of Voice: Current Leaders — This sortable table includes the current top 20 sites by share of voice. Here you can see who is gaining or losing ground over time.You can also view each site’s Domain Authority score.
Share of Voice: Gains and Losses — This chart gives you a visual representation of the gains and losses in share of voice for the current top 20 sites over a select time period.
Most Frequently in Top 10 — Every seven days, STAT does a simple tally of the sites that appeared the most frequently in the top 10 search results for the selected keyword set.
