[RESOLVED] Google changes to geo-location causing issues for non-US market tracking

After carefully monitoring SERP consistency over the past few weeks, we’re confident that the data fluctuations we’re seeing are due to natural changes on the SERPs. With this, we’re officially closing the book on this issue.

If you have any questions about your data, please reach out to us at support@getSTAT.com.

Cheers,
Derek and the STAT team

[UPDATED] November 7, 2017

We’re happy to report significant progress on this issue. As we compare our SERPs from one day to the next, we’re close to seeing natural fluctuations in the data.

We will continue to monitor SERP consistency and tackle any edge-cases that may arise, and we will be sure to update you when this is officially resolved. If you notice new irregularities, please let us know at support@getSTAT.com.

Thank you for your continued patience,
Derek and the STAT team

[UPDATED] November 1, 2017

Our team is working hard to adapt to Google’s location relevance update. We’ve made progress and the situation is beginning to improve. However, there is still a percentage of search queries in non-US markets returning incorrect SERP data as Google rolls out the update globally.

On November 1, you may see further irregular fluctuations in your ranking and share of voice data for October 31, particularly across the GB-en, AU-en, and CA-en markets.

We are hoping to find a resolution in the next few days. If you have any questions, drop us a line at support@getSTAT.com. Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,
Derek and the STAT team
