Feature Release: Revamped Alerting System

Today, we’re happy to announce that we’ve released a completely re-designed Alerting interface in STAT.

When you open up a site, you’ll notice a sub-tab below the overview graph that is titled “Alerts”.

By clicking on this sub-tab, you’ll be taken the Alerts table. From here, you can create and delete Alerts for your site.

Those of you who used our old Alerting system might have been frustrated by the hard-to-understand language we used in describing the various metrics and alerting thresholds.

We’ve listened to your feedback and have completely redesigned this interface from the ground up, with an eye on making it easier to understand the alerts you’re creating, and the email’s that STAT sends you when an alert is triggered.

You can create alerts to be emailed when a keyword ranking changes, when your site gains or loses backlinks, pagerank, indexed pages, and a variety of other metrics.

Go ahead, give it a try! If you have any feedback for us, we’d love to hear it.

As always, Alerts are completely documented in our Help section, so feel free to check there for any advice, or just shoot us an email if you have any specific questions.

Thanks!

Rob, and the STAT Team.
