Today we’re releasing a special new report type and two helpful API tweaks.
1. New report: Measure how well your tags are doing
We created a brand new report to help you see the big picture that your keywords paint. The Tag report: Ranking trends over time shows trends in average tag performance, giving you excellent insight into how your site ranks for the topics, brands, or categories that you’re tracking.
You can now see the average rank of your tags (by week or month, or compare two separate days), as well as which URL is most popular with search engines. Select any or all of your synced sites to run in the report for a quick competitor analysis, spotting keyword groups that you’re winning or losing ground on.
Find this new report, along with all the others, by going to Reporting under Site Tools.
2. Standard API update: New parameters for bulk ranking exports
For whenever you’re creating new bulk rank export jobs via the API, we’ve added two new parameters to give you more customizable, in-depth data on your site’s rankings.
You can now choose which search engine to pull from (Google, Yahoo, and/or Bing), and select whether to see highest ranks or all ranking data, which is particularly useful when running cannibalization reports for your site.
Get more info on bulk exports via the standard API here.
3. Specialty bulk API update: Get http/https protocol info
We’ve also made a minor update to our optional Bulk SERP API so that the output now shows the http or https protocol. Protocol information can help uncover problems with canonicalization, duplications, and migration progress.
Read up on this and other optional API services here.
As always, we welcome your feedback and input on any of our features. And we’re always here if you need training or further explanation. Just email support@getSTAT.com and we’ll reply in a jiffy.
Cheers,
the STAT Team
