Today is a big day: Moz has acquired STAT.
For quite some time now, Sarah Bird, the CEO of Moz, and I have been talking about the possibility of joining forces. We realised all the good we could do together, what it would mean for our clients, and how it would put us in a stronger position to accelerate our plans to build SEO products that change the industry. And now it’s a reality.
The way we see it, Moz and STAT are very similar — in spirit and in strategy. Not only do our cultures align, but we both work to solve the same kinds of problems, and with Moz in Seattle and us in Vancouver, we’re basically next-door neighbours.
We also have complementary strengths. Combining our daily, localised rankings and SERP analytics with Moz’s local SEO expertise and their keyword and link research tools was a no-brainer. Together we have the greatest breadth of high quality data in the industry and the most robust organic search solution for SEOs.
You’re probably wondering what all of this means for you. In the short term, the answer is that STAT, as you know it, isn’t going anywhere. In fact, we’re not slowing down as we integrate with Moz — we still have ambitions to build the future of SERP analytics, and Moz is going to get us there faster than we could on our own. You’ll also continue to receive the same level of support and service you’ve come to expect from our team.
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to you for your support of STAT. I — and the whole STAT team — look forward to continuing to provide you the best in SERP analytics, now and into the future. We’re thrilled to give you even more than we could before and are excited to show you everything we’ve got in store for you.
You can read more about it on our blog and Moz’s blog.
Please feel free to reach out to me or our client success team — clientsuccess@getSTAT.com — at any point or tweet at us @getSTAT if you have any questions.
Stay tuned for more!
