The wait is over! As of today, STAT supports tracking your keyword rankings for Android and iPhone mobile devices!
You are now able to select a ‘device’ for your keywords when you import them via spreadsheet or you create them manually. Please be sure to download the new keyword import template for uploading your keywords. You’ll also notice a new ‘device’ column on the keywords table which indicates the type of keyword that we’re tracking for you. Naturally, all of your existing keywords are set to ‘desktop’ as the device type. You are able to filter on the ‘device’ column to show only the rankings that you need to look at.
For the time being, this should be considered a feature in public beta. At this time, we’re only supporting Google mobile rankings. Yahoo and Bing mobile rankings will become available in the next month or so as we move the feature out of beta.
I highly recommend you try out comparing mobile rankings to desktop rankings for the same keywords. You might be surprised by how different the rankings can be for certain search queries!
As you start using the Mobile Rankings features, if you encounter any bugs or other errors, please email us to let us know at support@getstat.com so that we can fix them for you ASAP.
We hope you enjoy this new feature, and please, if you have any feedback or questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
Warm regards,
Rob, and the STAT team
