While working on that new feature we can’t yet talk about, we managed to add to our SERP tracking repertoire and refine the backend for continued smooth sailing in STAT.

Tracking update

• See the ins and outs of carousels that contain news and recipe results
  Thanks to five parts McKnight, three parts Tylor, a splash of Michael, and a dollop of Dolinsky, we’re now tracking every news and recipe result appearing in a carousel. You can get your hands on individual rank, URL, and result type (news, recipe, AMP, organic). Read more about these carousel developments here.

  

Performance upgrade

• More stability in STAT
  We’ve done a lot of behind-the-scenes work with servers, apps, and APIs to make sure things remain, as Andrew puts it, “not breaky.” Even as we add more clients and complexities into the mix, it’s steady as she goes in STAT.
