Over the next few months we’ll have hard-hats and hot coffees on hand as we improve our SERP tracking and build out a brand new feature — one that we can’t wait to talk about.
What we can talk about now is that better carousel parsing is coming to STAT. You can already keep tabs on carousels that live at the top of the SERP, but we’re gearing up to track ones that sit among the regular results. And since Google’s stuffing the SERPs with more carousels than ever, you’ll also get your hands on all the URLs appearing in them — not just the first result — to see who you’re up against, and whether you’ve snagged a spot.
But, aside from impending awesomeness, our laser-focus on these initiatives means that you might see fewer minor fixes until they’re done. Here’s what we’ve got for you this week:
Tracking update
- Spot “jobs” results on the SERPs
We’re now in the business of tracking jobs. Even though Google is still testing this result type, we like to stay as ahead of the curve as possible, so we’ve added it to our SERP feature oeuvre. You’ll find it listed as “jobs” in STAT, and attributed to Google.
There are lots of new developments coming down the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled. Need a little extra help surfacing SERP features in STAT? Reach out to ClientSuccess@getSTAT.com and we’ll get you set up. Read up on past releases here.

The STAT team
